B&B Butchers & Restaurant, based in Houston, Texas, is a locally owned upscale steakhouse and traditional butcher shop specializing in high-quality meats and elevated customer service. Located at 1814 Washington Avenue in the historic Dittman Bakery building, the dual concept is dedicated to serving the finest Texas and Japanese Wagyu beef as well as in-house dry-aged USDA Prime beef – all hand-cut in the butcher shop. B&B is now one of only nine U.S. restaurants certified by the Kobe Beef Association in Japan, offering 100% authentic, A5-certified Kobe beef from Tajima cattle.

When B&B Butchers & Restaurant opened on the east end of Washington Avenue, the area was just beginning to be developed. It was not a destination that Houstonians associated with dining, especially a high-end restaurant, and many did not realize the proximity of the restaurant to downtown Houston. The PR Boutique assisted in hosting several events with a wide variety of influencers, media, young professional groups, charities, etc. in order to create and build meaningful and long-lasting relationships and return clients.
Leading up to the grand opening, The PR Boutique generated as much attention as possible by sending the detailed press kit to local media, pitching business and lifestyle stories to the Houston Business Journal, Houston Chronicle, CultureMap Houston, Houston Modern Luxury, PaperCity Magazine, My Table Magazine, among many other publications. The PR Boutique coordinated and oversaw the soft “Friends & Family” opening and grand opening of B&B Butchers & Restaurant, including media outreach and event marketing surrounding both events. The agency strategically selected Houston influencer and philanthropist, Becca Cason Thrash, to be honored at the grand opening party, where she hosted her list of local, elite guests to a VIP cocktail hour and seated dinner. Additionally, The PR Boutique distributed a post press release highlighting the exclusive event along with key photos to secure event coverage. After the grand opening, The PR Boutique continually coordinated food journalist and blogger tastings and local morning TV segments to generate more media coverage. As a result of The PR Boutique outreach, B&B received countless notable media placements. After months of hard work, B&B was officially on the map in Houston and positioned as one of the best new restaurants and steakhouses in the city.
