The City of Bee Cave is a thriving, family-oriented community centrally located about 17 miles west of Austin, Texas on State Highway 71 at the gateway to the Texas Hill Country. Only 20 minutes from Lake Travis, the city offers a healthy balance of retail businesses and office space, highly-desirable residential neighborhoods, a burgeoning food and restaurant scene and an abundance of outdoor recreation attractions.

Introduce the City of Bee Cave to driver markets through influencer programming
Position the City of Bee Cave as a Texas travel destination through influencer endorsement
Drive traffic to and increase following on Visit Bee Cave social media channels
CHALLENGES
The PR Boutique was charged with launching a travel and tourism campaign during the COVID-19 pandemic
The City of Bee Cave was incorporated in 1987 and is nestled between Austin, Dripping Springs and within close proximity to Fredericksburg, all Texas towns rich in heritage and tradition. In addition to Bee Cave, there are many small Texas towns vying for leisure and business travel business.
SUCCESS METRICS
The City of Bee Cave has a designated Travel & Tourism budget set aside that has been funded as a result of the hotel occupancy sales tax which can specifically be allocated towards bringing new overnight visitors to Bee Cave. The PR Boutique was hired to promote the city to out-of-market audiences and specifically market the close proximity to the Hill Country and desirable destinations such as available hotels, breweries, vineyards, Lake Travis and golf courses in addition to shopping, dining, music, cultural arts experiences and city events. Through targeted influencer outreach, The PR Boutique increased the Visit Bee Cave social media following, drove traffic to the website and educated tourists on WHY they should visit and stay in the City of Bee Cave. This ultimately translated to an increase in visitor stays and revenue for hotels and local destinations.
