As a native Houstonian, Laynie Bracewell Davis brings a deep-seeded appreciation for the Houston community and a passion for all things Houston: the people, the art, the restaurants, the institutions, the culture, and of course, the Astros. Above all else, Laynie has a keen understanding that relationships matter most to success. By crafting authentic narratives and fostering genuine relationships, Laynie’s work is rooted in the desire to share her client’s unique stories. Effective project management, comprehensive strategic plans and strong written and verbal communication are assets that Laynie brings to each endeavor. Always in favor of collaborating with the team and approaching challenges in unique, creative ways, Laynie will break through the “noise” to make your message resonate.
Prior to joining The PR Boutique, Laynie established a successful career in development, serving notable Houston institutions such as The Museum of Fine Arts, Houston, the Houston Museum of Natural Science, and the Memorial Hermann Foundation. Through extensive fundraising, event management, and stewardship efforts, Laynie brings invaluable experience cultivating strong relationships with individuals, crafting strategic, comprehensive communication plans, and creatively planning and successfully executing events of all sizes.
Laynie graduated from The College of William and Mary with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing and a minor in Art and Art History. Outside of work, Laynie enjoys spending time with her son Hayes, cheering for the Astros, indulging in Tex-Mex, hosting friends at her home, and taking road trips to West Texas with her husband, Brandon.
